Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Sovern.

Last updated: March 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sovern ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you enter into a separate agreement with us (for example an order form, pilot, or enterprise terms), that agreement governs where it conflicts with these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Sovern is an organization operating system delivered as software: strategy, operations, and tooling in one platform. Depending on your configuration, features may include spaces and workspaces, documents and publishing, workflows and work items, commerce-related capabilities, AI-assisted features, integrations you enable, and cryptographic attestation where offered. Availability of features depends on your plan, region, deployment mode, and configuration.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or other security incident.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Sovern and its licensors. Your content remains yours, you retain rights to the data and materials you submit, subject to the rights we need to operate the Service for you.

6. Data location and deployment models

Sovern supports different deployment models. If you use Sovern-operated hosting, your organization data is processed on infrastructure we operate for that service (typically in the region associated with your environment), with logical separation between customers, you do not by yourself administer the underlying servers unless we expressly agree otherwise. If you self-host or operate a dedicated environment under your control, processing occurs on infrastructure you administer according to your configuration. We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, for legal or security reasons, or where required by law. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give prior notice. If you have a separate contract with us, its termination provisions apply. When access ends, your right to use the Service stops; export data beforehand where the product allows.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sovern and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. For material changes we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable (for example by posting on this site or notifying administrators). Continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

10. Contact

For questions about these Terms, use the contact information published on sovern.cloud. If you have a Sovern account, you may also use support or administrative contact options available in the product.
